    AAdvantage Platinum is valued at $3,500 by TPG your valuation may differ

    Platinum status requirements - in one calendar year, earn 50,000 EQ Miles or EQ Points, or fly 60 EQ Segments.

    Members must fly at least 4 segments on American or US Airways during the qualifying year to receive elite status. Status will last that status year (ends the last day of February the following calendar year) and the next status year - minimum 14, maximum 25 months.

    Seeing all these benefits, I think it is really worth it to go Platinum. I mean, all they offer you after, is just crazy.
